Privacy Policy — Luvidora™

Last updated: 17 September 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Luvidora™ collects, uses and shares personal information when you visit luvidora.com, place an order or contact us.

Business operating Luvidora™ and responsible for your personal information: Luvidora Sp. z o.o.

Contact: contact@luvidora.com

In this policy, “Luvidora”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the business identified above.

1. Information we collect

Depending on your interactions with us, we collect:

  • Contact and delivery information: your name, email address, telephone number, billing address and delivery address.

  • Order and transaction information: products ordered, amounts paid, payment status, delivery details, refunds and related correspondence.

  • Customer service information: messages and information you send us about a question, return or warranty claim, including photographs or videos of a defective product.

  • Device and browsing information: IP address, browser and device details, pages viewed, shopping activity and cookie identifiers, subject to applicable privacy choices.

  • Preferences: consent records, marketing subscriptions and privacy choices.

We receive information directly from you, through your use of our website, and from service providers supporting payments, order fulfilment and delivery. Payment card information is collected through the payment systems described in section 5.

When submitting warranty photographs or videos, please show the product and the issue without including unnecessary personal information, such as identity documents or unrelated people.

2. How and why we use your information

We use personal information to:

  • Process payments, prepare and deliver orders, and provide order updates.

  • Answer questions and manage returns, refunds and warranty claims, including our 12-month product warranty.

  • Maintain transaction records and meet applicable accounting and legal requirements.

  • Protect the store, investigate suspected fraud and resolve disputes.

  • Send marketing emails where permitted by law and your preferences.

  • Understand website performance and measure advertising, where the relevant tools are enabled and subject to applicable consent requirements.

Where data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on performance of a contract for orders and after-sales service; legal obligations for required records; and consent for activities that require it. We also rely, where appropriate, on legitimate interests in preventing fraud, securing our store and resolving disputes, after considering your rights and interests.

Information needed to process payment or deliver an order is necessary to fulfil your purchase. Without it, we may be unable to complete the order. Agreeing to marketing is optional.

3. Email preferences and telephone numbers

We may send product news and promotional emails where permitted by applicable law and your preferences. Where consent is required, we obtain it before sending marketing. Promotional messages can include abandoned-checkout reminders; these are separate from updates about an order you have placed.

You can unsubscribe using the link in a marketing email or by contacting contact@luvidora.com. This does not prevent necessary communications about an existing order, refund or warranty request.

We do not send marketing SMS messages. Providing a telephone number for an order does not subscribe you to SMS marketing. Your number may be used when needed to contact you about your purchase or arrange delivery.

4. Who receives your information

Access within our team is limited to the people who need the information for their work. We also disclose information as needed to:

  • Shopify and payment service partners, to operate the store, process payments and support transaction security.

  • Fulfilment partners, suppliers and carriers, to prepare, dispatch and deliver orders or replacements.

  • Technical and support service providers, to maintain the website, handle customer communications and keep business records.

  • Analytics or advertising providers, where their tools are enabled, subject to applicable privacy choices and legal requirements.

  • Professional advisers or authorities, where necessary for legal obligations, fraud prevention or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

We limit disclosures to what is relevant to the purpose. Some providers, including payment and advertising providers, also process information for their own purposes under their privacy policies.

Information may be transferred as part of a business sale, merger or restructuring, subject to applicable safeguards and notification requirements.

5. Shopify and Shopify Payments

Our online store is hosted by Shopify, and we use Shopify Payments to accept payments. Shopify and its service partners process personal information to provide the store and payment services, authenticate transactions, detect fraud and handle refunds or payment disputes.

We receive the order and transaction information needed to manage your purchase. We do not require you to send payment card details by email or through customer support.

Where Shopify Network Intelligence is enabled, Shopify also uses information about interactions with our store, other merchants and Shopify to provide enhanced services, including personalisation, performance improvements and advertising. These uses are subject to applicable consent and opt-out requirements.

You can read the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy and use the Shopify Privacy Portal to learn about Shopify's processing and exercise relevant rights directly with Shopify.

6. Cookies, analytics and advertising

We and our service providers, including Shopify, use cookies and similar technologies to operate the website. Essential technologies support features such as the shopping basket, checkout and security.

Where enabled, optional analytics and advertising technologies, such as Google Analytics and Meta Pixel, help measure visits, understand shopping activity and assess or personalise advertising. These technologies may disclose online identifiers and browsing or shopping activity to their providers.

Where the law requires consent, these optional technologies require your agreement before use. Visiting the website or placing an order does not, by itself, constitute consent to optional tracking.

Use the website's privacy controls, where displayed, to manage or withdraw choices. You may also contact contact@luvidora.com about your preferences. Browser settings can limit cookies, although blocking essential cookies may affect checkout and other functions.

Where applicable law requires us to recognise browser-based opt-out signals, such as Global Privacy Control, those signals apply to the relevant sale, sharing or targeted-advertising processing for that browser.

7. International processing

Shopify and other service providers may process information outside your country, where data protection rules may differ.

Where European or UK transfer restrictions apply, transfers must rely on an appropriate legal mechanism, such as an applicable adequacy decision or approved contractual safeguards, together with supplementary protections where needed. Contact us to request information about the safeguards applicable to your data or a copy where available.

8. How long we keep information

Retention depends on the purpose and the obligations applying to the record:

  • Order, payment and accounting records: for fulfilment, refunds and reconciliation, followed by any applicable statutory recordkeeping period.

  • Customer service and warranty records: for resolving the request and administering applicable warranty rights, plus any relevant period needed to address an outstanding dispute or legal claim.

  • Warranty photographs and videos: for assessing the reported issue and handling the resulting claim; they are removed when no longer needed for those purposes or a related legal obligation or dispute.

  • Marketing information: while the subscription remains active and relevant. After unsubscribing, we retain only what is needed to record and respect the preference or demonstrate compliance.

  • Technical and cookie data: according to the technology's purpose, its configured expiry and applicable consent choices.

We delete or anonymise personal information when it is no longer needed, unless a legal obligation requires its continued retention. Contact us for information about the retention criteria applying to a particular record.

9. Security

We use appropriate organisational and technical measures to protect personal information, including limiting access to those who need it. No website, transmission method or storage system can guarantee absolute security.

Please avoid sending full payment card details or unnecessary sensitive information in messages to us.

10. Your privacy rights

Depending on the law applying to your information, you may have rights to access it, receive a portable copy, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, restrict processing or object to processing. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting processing lawfully carried out before withdrawal.

To make a request, email contact@luvidora.com. We may ask for proportionate information to verify your identity or an authorised representative's authority. We respond within the applicable legal time limits and explain any lawful restriction on fulfilling the request.

Some information may need to be retained, for example for required accounting records or a legal claim. You may also complain to the competent data protection authority, including the Polish supervisory authority where relevant, or the authority available to you under applicable law.

11. California and other US privacy rights

Where the relevant state privacy law applies to our business and your information, you may also have rights to know about collection and disclosure, opt out of sale, sharing or targeted advertising, and limit certain uses of sensitive information. Where provided by law, you may appeal a decision about a request by emailing contact@luvidora.com.

We do not sell customer lists for money. However, disclosures through advertising technologies or Shopify's enhanced services may qualify as “sale” or “sharing” under some state laws, even without payment.

To exercise an applicable opt-out right, contact contact@luvidora.com or use the privacy choices provided on our website. Applicable recognised browser opt-out signals are described in section 6. We do not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.

12. Children

Our store is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed at children. We do not seek to collect children's personal information for marketing.

If you believe a child has provided personal information without the permission required by applicable law, contact contact@luvidora.com so we can investigate and take appropriate action, including deletion where required.

13. Other websites and policy changes

External websites have their own privacy practices. Their policies govern information they collect independently; this does not remove our responsibilities for information we collect or disclose.

We may update this policy as our services or practices change. The date above identifies the latest revision. We provide additional notice of material changes and obtain fresh consent where required, before applying the relevant changes.

14. Contact

For privacy questions, requests or complaints, email contact@luvidora.com.
